Scissors or Edgers

It is a good idea to have a sharp pair of scissors for cutting photos and paper. Edgers are scissors that cut different designs around your pictures and your scrapbook paper. They make your scrapbooking pages a little bit more fun.

Personal Paper Trimmer

This is a nice scrapbooking tool to have because when you want to crop your pictures you can cut a nice straight line.

Pens

There are a variety of pens that you can use, from regular gel to metallic gel, to calligraphy for journaling. Just make sure that they are acid-free and archival quality.
