Scrapbooking Supplies R US is expanding to include a monthly kit club in addition to our already fantastic online store. As our kits will have a little something for everyone we have chosen to call it "The Sampler" to reflect the variety. We are looking for a few new design team members of all styles to work with our already established store design team. We will be taking submissions from now through November 2, 2009. The new team members will be announced November 5, 2009 in time to receive and work with our debut kit.
As a designer, you will be asked to:
1. Provide quality scans/photographs of 4-5 projects* a month using 80% or more of the product from our kit. (2 of these projects would be for the bi-weekly challenges.) *Mini-albums count as 2 projects. 2. Write 1-2 monthly blog posts on The Crop Spot (dates will be assigned) providing tips and detailed photos for our readers 3. Participate in forum activity 4. Submit monthly feedback about the kits 5. Participate in judging of challenges and contests 6. Help promote/advertise The Sampler and Scrapbooking Supplies R Us on other message boards that you participate in and your personal blog 7. Design for The Sampler on a 6-month term, beginning with the December 2009 kit and ending with the May 2010 kit. December kits will be mailed 2-3 weeks prior to launch date and members are expected to begin posting on launch day (December 1, 2009).
With that being said, all projects made with the kits are yours to keep; and when used in the newsletter or on the website, you will be given full credit for your designs. As our designer, you can also submit your own work for publication after 1 month of debut of the kit, as long as you give The Sampler proper credit.
Your compensation will be:
1. free monthly kit with no shipping charge 2. 20% off purchases of any add-ons and 15% off any products in our online store including sale items.

1. 3 layouts (12 x 12, 8 1/2 x 11, doesn't matter) 2. an altered item, mini album, art journal or an additional layout 3. a card 4. link(s) to your online gallery, blog and/or resume, if available 5. your full contact information: name, phone number, email address, and location 6. a short paragraph or two of why you want to be one of our designers 7. a list of your current commitment(s) or teams you have designed for in the past
* When sending us your projects, please send us your best work ! This can be posted online, we just want to see your best stuff! ( Links and attachments will be accepted, but please ensure that you send working links and file size not exceeding more than 200kb per file.)
* International applicants are more than welcome to apply!

Personally, I think everyone will be "good fit" with our kits. The pieces we're assembling are unique yet they still hold charm for everyone! Please submit you're applications!
