Let't Play with Alcohol Inks!

Ok, July’s kit has an awesome little bottle of alcohol ink in it along with a refillable pen. A little out of the ordinary, but such an awesome product! I ink everything I can get my hands on these days and alcohol ink extends my ability to do that on items that aren’t willing to accept dye or pigment inks.

Ugly Is Not A Crime (Layout)

Layering

I think some of you are a little surprise that this layout actually comes from me. As you all know, I'm not a usual very colourful person...LOL! Anyway, the pattern papers used in this layout had challenged me in a good way and let me know that I can be colourful too at times!

The technique that I want to share with today's tutorial is layering in design. As you can see, from my layout above, I've actually put the circles on top of each other but it's kind of grounded on the lower right of it. This is to create the huge space on the top of the layout and make it look more interesting.

Creating with The Sampler

Hi everyone! Welcome to The Crop Spot. I want to share a creation I made using July's The Sampler kit. I love this month's kit! It is full of the cutest, latest, and greatest products! I love the vibrant colors and whimsical embellishments!

This is an altered item I made using a small chalkboard I found at an antique mall for less than $2.
