 I Care (Layout)

Today's tutorial will showcase how I've used the fun Kraft Resist Paper Stash by Tim Holtz.

Here are the steps to it.

1) Use a pattern paper as the base for this layout. Ink the right of the paper with distress ink. On the left side of the paper, use the picket fence distress stain to swipe across the resist words and text. Let it dry.

2) Cut out another square piece of Kraft Resist pattern paper and ink it fully with chipped sapphire distress stain and walnut stain distress ink. Attach it to the middle of the layout.

3) Add a strip of ribbon and a strip of paper tissue vertically on the middle of the layout. Also hand stitch vertically on the there. Detail each strip with a rhinestone.

4) Cut out the woman image from one of the Kraft Resist paper and paint it's clothes with some picket fence distress stain. Attach it to the right of the layout.

5) Distress the edges of the photograph and attach it to the layout. Hand stitch around its edges.

6) Add a white spray to the lower right corner of the photograph.

7) Use the tattered florals die-cut and cut out some flowers using Kraft Glassine papers. Mist the flowers with blue patina perfect pearls mist and layer them to create some flowers. Attach them to the layout using brads and detail them with rhinestones and Stickles.

8) Also cut out some butterflies from the pattern papers and ink it with distress ink. Fold the wings up and attach it to the layout. Dress them up with Stickles.

9) Paint some grungeboard alphas using frayed burlap distress stain and let it dry. Use them to form the title and apply a layer of Glossy Accents on top them.

I'll be sharing more projects using these papers. Keep an eye for them here!
