 A Pretty Girl (Layout)

Today I would like to share a tutorial based on this layout above which features the sweet "Uncommon" line by Authentique.

Here are the steps.

1) Use a die cut shape paper and trace it onto the pink pattern paper. Cut it out and distress its edges. Ink it with distress ink and use it as the base for this layout.

2) Use a deco scissors and cut out a huge circle from the flourish stripes pattern paper. Ink its edges with distress ink and attach it to the middle of the layout. Hand stitch around its edges.

3) Cut out a huge rectangular piece from the text pattern paper and attach it to the left of the layout. Hand stitch a frame on the top, right and bottom edge of the layout.

4) Also cut out a small strip from the polka dots pattern paper and attach it next to the piece in step (3). Attach some corners to the top and bottom left of this piece.

5) Distress the edges of the photograph and ink it with distress ink. Attach it to the layout.

6) Cut out a strip of circles from the pattern paper and attach it to the left of the layout. Detail it with rhinestones.

7) Attach a strip of paper border and lace on the bottom on the photograph.

8) Add some tags on the left of the layout and use pop dots to create dimensions with them. Detail them with Stickles, rhinestones and ribbon. Also add some flowers there.

9) Mist a chipboard frame with the Polka Dot Pink Chalkboard mist and ink its edges with distress ink. Attach it to the right of the layout. Layer some tags on it and add a bouquet of flowers on it's top right corner. Detail the tags with rhinestone and apply some Stickles to the frame.

10) Apply some Glossy Accents over the words "Stunning" and "Unique" and on the small square flower piece.

Hope you all like today's tutorial. Happy scrapping!

xx Irene Tan
